But we also care about the environment throughout our production chain. • Products

  A Brazilian leader in the manufacture of sustainable products, we are the largest exporter of sanitary metals in Latin America and the only one in Brazil to obtain the maximum water- saving certification from WELS (Water Efficiency Labelling Scheme). The company is one of the first to integrate PBQP-H (a national construction quality program) and to seek partners for sustainable technological development.

• Air quality

  We make annual analyses to measure the indices of the gases emitted by the factory, because we aim to control the air quality in the productive environment.

• Ecotoxicity

  We constantly evaluate the toxic substances released into the environment. In the last evaluation, the results presented for ecotoxicity were six times lower than that allowed by the legislation.

• Preserved area

  We invested in preserving an area with approximately 33% Atlantic Forest. This effort joins the global movement to meet Kyoto Protocol targets. In addition, we planted native seeds in the area of riparian forest in 60,700 m².

• Effluent treatment

  All the water used in the industrial process goes through two waste treatment plants, which return the water to the environment free of harmful compounds to the ecosystem. In addition, our plant has a specific treatment plant for sanitary effluents.

• Docol Leed
